Driver Warehouse Associate

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
  • Maintain required vehicle maintenance records and daily inspection reports; maintain adequate fuel level in vehicles. Maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of vehicles
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the truck operating system in order to identify problem areas, and assist with preventative maintenance of vehicles
  • Drive Mission vehicles for mission business, for pick-up of donated items, delivery of customer purchased items, transporting recycled materials to salvage locations
  • Schedule donation pickups and deliveries
  • Plan routes for efficient use of labor and resources
  • Evaluate items offered by a potential donor, to ensure items meet store resale criteria; politely decline items which do not qualify
  • Maintain a good understanding of Treasure House’s product base, how products must be handled, loaded and transported
  • Process and maintain required donation records for onsite pickups
  • Unload donations at stores or warehouse
  • Work with 3rd party vendors to schedule bale pickups
  • Work in tandem with Warehouse Coordinator as part of the warehouse team
  • Assist with forklift, baler and other warehouse duties as needed
  • Support and collaborate with the vocational team as needed
  • Assist in training, coaching and overseeing volunteers and vocational residents
  • Communicate with customers, donors, co-workers, and volunteers in a professional manner


  • Physical ability to move large, bulky, and/or heavy items
  • Prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Safe driving record
  • 1 year minimum of previous truck driving experience
  • Previous forklift driving experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Positive attitude in order to uphold a positive image of the company
